Experience a great spring day in the 52 acre Brooklyn Botanic Garden. This is peak blooming time for over 200 dazzling trees in the Japanese Garden. The most showy trees have double pink, almost magenta, extravagant blossoms hanging in clusters of flowers. We’ll be walking through a fairytale experience.
Enjoy admission to the Sakura Matsuri, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Sakura Matsuri is a festival of Japanese culture, arts and performances in tribute to the Garden’s iconic collection of flowering cherry trees.
This festival features events and performances that celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture. Spend the day enjoying the festivities, food vendors, sword fighting, tea ceremonies….
