Get a Derby Neck Library card

Library card policies

To use the Derby Neck Library, a person must have an active library card from the municipality in which they reside.

To qualify for a Derby Neck Library card a patron must not have an active card at any other library, must fill out an application, and provide proof of residency within the City of Derby.  Proof of residency can typically be a driver’s license or a utility bill including the person’s name and address.

Library cards are valid for a 3 year period.  At the end of that period, the patron’s basic information is updated to assure currency and the card becomes valid for another 3 year period.
