Stop in our Children’s Room after April 24th to check on our incubating chicken eggs! We’ll also have books and all sorts of information about chickens and how to raise them. The eggs should hatch around May 15th, so make sure you stop in to meet our new friends before they return to the farm on May 30th!
Between May 11th and 16th, stop in and take advantage of our first ever Bag of Books sale! All you have to do is visit on one of those days and donate $15 to the library. A staff member or Friend will then give you a bag to fill with as many Browse & Buy books as you can. Our Derby Neck Library branded bags can be reused for groceries, travel, and more.

Every Thursday at 10:30am, join Señor Bob in our Community Room for a bilingual storytime for speakers of all languages! You’ll sing songs, listen to stories, and ¡se divertirán mucho! This program to promote foreign language skills is targeted for ages 3-5, but all are welcome. This teen programming series is all about bad movies, bad art, and bad taste! Join us in our Community Room for snacks, karaoke, and the opportunity to be loud in the library!
