Stop in our Children’s Room after April 24th to check on our incubating chicken eggs! We’ll also have books and all sorts of information about chickens and how to raise them. The eggs should hatch around May 15th, so make sure you stop in to meet our new friends before they return to the farm on May 30th!
Between May 11th and 16th, stop in and take advantage of our first ever Bag of Books sale! All you have to do is visit on one of those days and donate $15 to the library. A staff member or Friend will then give you a bag to fill with as many Browse & Buy books as you can. Our Derby Neck Library branded bags can be reused for groceries, travel, and more.

The Derby Neck Needlers’ Club meets to exchange tips on crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to attend. It’s a great way to learn some great skills!
