The Derby Neck Needlers Group meet to exchange tips on crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to attend. It’s a great way to learn some great skills! Refreshments served.
On Saturday, July 30 at 2pm, the jazz band Too Human will put on a performance for the Derby Neck Library. Performing jazz standards from the American Songbook with a fresh interpretation, Too Human combine vocals, guitar, percussion, and, on occasion, upright bass to create their jazzy/bluesy feel with a lot of heart. Sweet harmonies, unusual arrangements, and one member’s famous mouth trombone are the musical elements that frame their performance. High quality musicianship with humor and passion, totally in sync with each other, Too Human create a strong and intimate atmosphere. Join us for what is sure to be a memorable performance!
