Birth to Three Play Group

Every Wednesday, caregivers with children ages birth to three are invited to the Derby Neck Library for a play group in collaboration with Connecticut Birth to Three! Come try all the library’s resources alongside Early Interventionists who will work with you and your child to build confidence and competence and enhance child learning and development, all within the typical activities of the family.

No registration is required for this free program, just drop in!

ALSO: We collect diapers! Any size diapers that your child has outgrown can be donated to families in need. Just bring them to the program and we’ll distribute to local food banks!

Let’s Play Roblox: Work at a Pizza Place!

This Wednesday, you’re invited to play Roblox with Miss Sarah and your library friends! We’ll start with Work at a Pizza Place, deliver a few pizzas, and then we will be choosing a new Roblox experience from last week’s suggestions.

 

This program is aimed at kids 7 and older. If you have never played Roblox before, you will need to have your parent/guardian set up your account before the program. Sign up for our Youth Services mailing list to receive the Zoom and stay in the loop on cancelations by clicking here.

Come check out our Makerspace in the Children’s Room! Every Wednesday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, Miss Sarah will be on hand to assist you with any project you’d like to complete. We have a LEGO wall, a programmable robot, snap circuits, origami, pixel art, ingredients for slime–you name it, we can make it happen!
