Starting on January 29, VITA free tax preparation services will recommence at the Derby Neck Library on Sundays from 1-4:00pm throughout the tax filing season. Households that earned less than $54,000 in 2016 may be eligible for VITA’s free tax preparation services, provided by IRS-certified volunteers at community centers, nonprofit organizations, and other convenient locations across Connecticut. For individuals and families that qualify, VITA volunteers will work with you step by step to ensure you file accurately and on time.
