Craft beer is taking over the country and the Nutmeg State is no different. The Library will host author and self-proclaimed beer snob Will Siss on Thursday, October 26 at 6:30pm for a presentation on the History of Beer in Connecticut. Will Siss is the author of Connecticut Beer: A History of Nutmeg State Brewing and a writer for the Waterbury Republican-American, where his column “Beer Snob” has appeared since 2005. His writing about beer has appeared in the national magazines Beer Advocate and Brew Your Own, as well as on his blog at BeerSnobWrites.com. He is also a public school teacher and musician.
