At 5:00pm on April 4th, join us for Dinner and a Movie! We’ll provide pizza, a drink, something salty, something sweet, and the Oscar-nominated musical “The Color Purple” on the library’s big screen. No registration required, but doors close to newcomers at 5:15pm. Special thanks to our Friends group for their assistance during this program.

Sunday Crafternoons: Needle Felting

Visit the Valley in the 1920s with a new Powerpoint presentation by Pat Sweeney on Thurs., April 18 at 6:30 in the Community Room. It was the jazz age of flappers, alcohol prohibition, and fun fashions. Learn what life was like in the local towns. Just drop in—no registration is required.

Join our biweekly Sunday Crafternoon for a lesson in custom stamp making! Participants will have a change to design and carve their own unique rubber stamp for scrapbooking, print-making, and greeting card decoration. Registration required. Participation is limited to 12–register below!

Meeting on the last Monday of the month at 6:30pm, the Evening Book Club is a monthly program where we primarily read shorter novels by award-winning authors and occasionally a memoir.  Reading selections are available on Project Gutenberg. Bring a friend or family member and enjoy an informative and entertaining evening.  This club is moderated by Pat Sweeney

As in our pre-Covid days, attendees will be meeting on each Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. to enjoy a showing on our large-screen TV. Following the show, we will stay on for a discussion. Light, individually wrapped snacks and flavored teas are served at each meeting. Join us in the Community Room!

Join us as we explore two short stories and engage in lively conversations, copies of the two stories will be available at the library prior to each meeting. This free program will be twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm in the Community Room, and is intended for adults practicing their English language skills through guided conversation. Free coffee and tea will be served at each session. All community members are invited to participate – join us!
