Been There Done That Movin’ On Twos and Threes is for children who have been coming to the classes for a while and are capable of following more specific directions to musical games and are ready to learn new songs. Each week a different type of instrument is introduced and shared.

If you know little to nothing about computers, are afraid or confused about them, or interested but don’t know where to start, this is the place for you.  We cover the basics of Microsoft Word and Excel, email, and how to search the Internet for whatever interests you. There is no fee, you can start any day, but you can only attend once a week. Classes last an hour and are held on Mondays at 6pm and Tuesdays/Wednesdays at 10:30am.

Toddler Science is for children ages 3 and up. Experiments, books, music and crafts encourage you and your child to explore the world around you. Relearn things you forgot as you work with your toddler to learn about such subjects as space, magnetism, chemistry and physics. Classes regularly occur on Tuesday at 11am.

Starting on Tuesday, September 26 and then on every Tuesday thereafter from 1:00–3:00pm, the Derby Neck Library will begin its newest adult program series: Afternoon Tea V! This new program series will feature an hour’s worth of episodes of a streaming-only show on services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video followed by an hour of discussion. Throughout, there will be tea, coffee, and biscuits for refreshments. The first series will feature the Netflix series: The Crown. There is no fee for this program and no registration is required. Join us!

Derby Neck Video Game Club – Tuesdays at 3pm

Using the library’s Nintendo Wii U, PS4, and Dreamcast, teens will play various games on the systems. Derby Neck Video Game Club (VGC for short) is all about fun, so come join us. No registration is required and we play throughout the school year on Tuesdays after school when the director is in the building. This club was formerly called Smash! Club.
