If you know little to nothing about computers, are afraid or confused about them, or interested but don’t know where to start, this is the place for you.  We cover the basics of Microsoft Word and Excel, email, and how to search the Internet for whatever interests you. There is no fee, you can start any day, but you can only attend once a week. Classes last an hour and are held on Mondays at 6pm and Tuesdays/Wednesdays at 10:30am.

Smash! Club for Teens

Teens and tweens are invited to the new Smash Club! Using the library’s Nintendo Wii U, teens will play various games on the system, particularly Super Smash Bros. Differing from our regular Video Game Tournaments, Smash Club will be about fun and not competition. Other games that we play will include Mario Kart 8, the Wonderful 101, Injustice, Tekken Tag Tournament, and more multiplayer games will be purchased as they come out. Whether you’re a beginner or a highly-skilled gamer, this club will have something for everyone.

Join us on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30pm when the Frank Porto Band will put on a free performance for all attendees! They will be playing songs from the Great American Songbook as well as Broadway/Show Tunes and songs from the Big Band Era. These include some of America’s biggest names such as Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Everly Brothers, and more! This program is 100% free and great for the whole family. Registration is recommended.
